I took some 1" foam & cut it to fit the top of the drain pipe but yes it is very noisy. What did you do?

I added Orchid, Sunrise, Springeri, & Black Neon. I want to try & cross breed a Orchid & Sunrise. All fish in quarantine & doing really good.

I tore it down and installed dursos. Not very flexible but quiet.

That room is awesome. Hope you are doing better with your hand.. And that room looks like a full time job.... To keep everything up and running including maintenance on all those tanks..

I have foam blocks where all the water goes through & they are cleaned 2 x a week along with using carbon & 2 protein skimmers. Just added a Reef Dynamics skimmer which has 3 pumps on it.

Sponge material where all the water goes through down in the sump. I have 4 that are 4" x 4" x 24" so it goes 4' across the sump. I take them out & use tank water to clean them.
