I know the zoyzoy, but has several stores that has no site, and some stores it's difficult to choose the distance. I want to choose the area that has the best shops, which area you recommend? I want to buy "wysiwyg corals": acropora, blastomussa, micromussa, favia.
thank´s
If you can make it to Orange County, there are many more "choice" stores to look at. Where are you visiting at and maybe I can give you a few places to start at.
Eye Candy Aquariums in Garden Grove and Amazing Aquariums in Orange are very good stores. SoCal Tropical Fish Outlet and Aquarium In Motion, both in Fullerton are good also.
Thank´s Jun.
Thank´s Konadog, in Orange chose to a Amazing Aquariuns & Reefs only, if it has other stores tell me.
My list:
vivid aquarium
the mystic reef
reef hot spot
marine depot
aquarium city
fish clection
atlantic tropical aquarium
ocean pro aquarium
santa monica aquarium
kyoto aquarium
nature aquarium
socal tropical fish
aquarium in motion
oc aquatic tropical fish
amazing aquariums & reefs
eye candy aquariums
If you have any store that list not worth being me speak, a marine depot store has just opened or the Internet?
Well, I can only speak of these as I haven't been to the others:
vivid aquarium
reef hot spot
fish collection
socal tropical fish
aquarium in motion
oc aquatic tropical fish
amazing aquariums & reefs
eye candy aquariums
All of them are good stores. Marine Depot just moved locations and is an internet store only, but they do allow local pickup.
One other place to check out if you can is Reefer Madness, but I would call ahead to be sure you can walk in. They will accommodate you if they know ahead of time.
i live in riverside and there isnt a big selection but does anybody know a cool warehouse or store is for accessories and coral close by?? if so mesage me back thnx jimmy
vivid aquarium - Very good selection but a bit overpriced IMO.
kyoto aquarium - Don't waste your time... Only Goldfish and Koi.
aquarium in motion - Only heard good things about them.
oc aquatic tropical fish - Same as above.
If you are going to check out reefermadness, then you might want to add fragfarmers new warehouse and fragglereef to that list. They are in a general vicinity of eachother I believe. But just like RM, call or email and make an appt. I don't think they are walk-in stores. Reef hot spot isn't real far from there either, but in LA, not to far can take a real long time to get to.
Konadogs advice for OC stores is right on and I agree, Amazing Aquariums is a very nice store with a real good owner. Vivid aquariums is also very nice and prices are high end but not more then some OC stores. Don't bother with Aquarium City!
