Depends on what you plan on stocking , but down the road a third Hydra might be needed as well as a second mp40 if you go SPS

You probably won't , but most of the Hydra tanks seem to need a fixture every 18" or so. Here again , depends on what's growing in your tank. If you go LPS and softies you are probably good to go. If you end up SPS you may get some shading issues down the road. Your rock scape and layout will contribute as well.

Ditch the sterilizer.

You can always add more flow once your corals grow and start blocking what you can make with your current pumps. Its going to take a couple years to get to that point, unless your tank is packed with Live rock or something.

I would switch out the heater for two or more smaller wattages ones. If (when) the 500w heater fails, and they all do eventually, it will almost certainly fail in the "on" setting and fry the tank.

I filled my eb8 pretty quick and want a second. I could take my lights off but having it set up to turn lights off if temp is too high is worth the price of a second one imo, won't hurt for a second.

Since your using LED's, heat from the light should not represent a serious problem. That said, having a second EB8 would make your life easier. I also agree about ditching the UV.
