So months ago I had visited a fish store and they had a beautiful set that my wife and I fell in love with. that same day I purchased a 56gal tank and started this project. it has been 5 months now and after a loooong period of wait, I was able to add fish a month ago.. I was hesitant to post pictures in case any of my fish died. but thankfully they haven't. Below are the details

56gal tank
50lbs of live rock
40 lbs of live sand
8 snails
1 banded coral shrimp
2 clowns
2 cardinals
2 lemon damsels
1 purple/yellow dotty

I plan on placing my first frags in a week. Looking at a frogspawn and a branching hammer.

Feel free to comment/leave any feedback... good or bad...

Looks like a great start! Taking it slow is the best approach to this hobby.

What kind of lighting do you have?

Tank looks great brotha. Love the aquascape. Patients is def a part of this hobby I think your off to a great start.

Looks awesome!!!
7 - 8 fish that size is perfect for your tank - just right - not overstocked!
The clowns will kill you though! They are pesky little beggars!
Hammers are nice but are a bit aggressive. I'd start off with a couple of easy maintenance softies.
A word to the wise - that Coral Banded shrimp will munch on your snails if you don't keep it well fed.
Get some Rowa Phos and put it in a bag and then put the bag in your sump sock. Or better yet get a reactor and fill the puppy up.
Get some Purigen too!

Trust me - You don't want Dino or any other algae problems! Or any Cyano - yech!

Great job. Best of luck to you and hope to "see" you on here again soon!
