reef-to-go order anyone?...and my tank is doing good!

First off anyone want to order from reef to go? I need to replace some of my snails. Thinking of getting the order in today for SAT delivery.

2nd I am proud to say all my corals are growing are growing except the darn sponge, its holding steady. I may move it to more shade.....can't figure it out....maybe really slow grower. So to celebrate I'm looking to buy some frags.....anyone want to sell some $10 frags? I'm ready for my first clam if anyone has one for sale I’m sure that will be more than $10 but let me know what you have.

i have some aptasia issues and i keep nuking them with aptasi-X but ikeep seeing like 5-6 every couple of days....i think it is a copped band butterfly will eat them right? Will my tangs fight with him? anything else eat aptasia?

I am going to move some of the lower rocks around a bit to add an additional rock piece for more places to attach coral.

side note- I turned down my MP40's and a few of the close SPS have extended the tentacles now. I think I was blasting them too hard.

Reefing is so much more fun when your corals grow.....pretty cool to see the changes. I feel like a kid again! Haha :dance:

Also if anyone needs clean dirt I have about 5-6 yards in my backyard due to digging the trench for some French drain around the house. I can help you load it if you need...easy access for dump truck and tractor. Let me know.

Congrat by the way, I am glad to hear your tank is doing well. I don't have much in a way of frags right now but Ceasar have some nice $10 frags available, you should check them out, I bought 7 frags from them already. As soon as they frag up some more I'll get more.

My frag tank is coming together, soon I'll be able to let go some frags for the club

You got it looking for cheap frags in exchange for dirt or dirt cheap frags...haha.. I'll head up to Ceasars soon. I'll call to make sure they have some before I make the trip.

I have a nice Duncan to donate back to the club, I may need one more month of feeding it before I get a full head to split but I won it in the raffle and I am finally ready to give 1/2 back!


Tom-At the upcoming meeting I am going to check out your garage sump set up more. I will be doing the same soon but I am worried about the temp swing. I know you have a finished garage and insulated but I bet it is still a lot colder than the house. Do you think it affects the PGE much more to have it in the garage with extra heaters on to keep water temp up in winter and chiller on during summer?

If you insulate your garage correctly, you won't see much of a different except in the summer months. i'll show you ways to compensate for that. In the summer months though the cool garage will help keep the temp down.

This is a helping hand club, so don't feel like you have to do the whole thing on your own, just set up a party and we will be there to help simmilar to the way we set up your rock work.

Thanks guys, I just made the order and I added some peppermint shrimp. You'll have to show me your insulation set up. I'm looking to move the sump this summer so we could have a work party meeting.
