I have recently installed my Photon 32 8 inches above my 36",20",24" 65 gallon. I have also since then put in a GBTA during the day it is out and looks fine but for the past 2 nights it has looked like horrible. I am currently using a custom setting peaking to 33 B and W. Also tank parameters are all in check with nitrates being a little high at about 8. Please let me know what you guys think. I have not been able to get a good picture because it is down between the crevice of two rocks. In addition last night there was brown stringy possibly "poop"? coming from it and now tonight there is clear/white with brown mixed in "poop". Lastly there is a big maroon clown hosting it since about the second day the GBTA has been in there. Thanks Guys!

Here is the best picture I could get.

How big is the maroon? I had a maroon host my GBTA and he beat the **** out of it. I tried puting a net around it to keep him out but he'd always find it's way back in. You clown may be stressing. Try and put some cover around the nem so he can get some strength back.. Mine ended up dying from all the battering the maroon did to it.

Yeah maroons are total nem beaters. They dive in rough house and are generally rowdy. Heck I had one that refused to leave the anemone even to eat!

Yeah protect that nem or send the maroon to the brig (put it in your sump) for awhile. I had to do that recently to a clown, she's back Noe though.

i had a clarkii pair beat the hell out of a huge LTA, killed it within 2 weeks. had the nem for couple months wit no probs before the clarkiis came into the tank...

Hmm alrighty I have a critter box type thing that i can put the nem in to would that possibly help? Also i put it in there, but have never tried to take it out, do you just massage the foot of it until it lets go? Thanks guys!
