Reefkeeping in Germany

Does anyone know how readily available corals/fish/rock etc are in Germany? I may be getting an assignment there and am wondering if I'll have to put my obsession on hold for the 3 yrs that I'll be there or if there may be a chance at me starting a new tank there.

That's where the hobby basically started so there should be a lot of retailers there.

A lot of revolutionary ideas have came from there, but I think the livestock there is more expensive and limited.

The livestock has been my biggest area of concern. I don't think that I'll be bringing my 115 but I have thought about bringing my 45 gallon and seeing what I can do with it for the time that we are there. Lots of decisions to make.

I am in Germany all the time. In fact I am in stuttgart right now on business. I have never found a fish store here that sells coral. No problem finding beer...

I live in The Netherlands, Germany is next to our country. We take trips to Germany because all of the beautiful big stores they have there. The also have more rare SPS etc. I think you will like it You can buy everything there.
