Hey Gang,

I have all the Ecotech gear, lights, pump, battery backup. all works flawless. Loving the setup.

However i purchased a Reeflink and i have had nothing but grief.

It connected just fine initially and i setup my wifi, i then disconnected the USB cable and connected the power cable as requested by the software. That was the last time that i could communicate with the device either via usb or network

When my configuration was first setup i was able to ping the IP address that DHCP assigned it off my router. After the reboot and connecting just the power cable i cannot connect period. Windows doesnt even see the device being connected anymore.


The device has lights that are rainbow colored and that is it.

Going clockwise and starting at 12 oclock, The colors are green , two reds to the right of that, two yellow after that, and finally a red. It does nothing else.

Any ideas?

I have a call into ecotech this morning, but i left a message.

Spoke with Alex this morning, i had heard so much about him from other hobbists, he really is a nice guy, excellent customer service.

Long story short, those lights indicate a potential hardware failure, he is shipping me a new one.

Fantastic support. Looking forward to getting this going.

Two things

- first issue was resolved.. Damn Ecotech is fast at resolving problems. (all set)

-two. you know those little rubber boots that you place inside the USB connection port on the radeon lights? Do you sell those little buggers seperatly? I lost mine.
