I did my mod last night...i dont remember seeing an o ring though when i removed my drain plug. I will have to look again to see if it was stuck on the housing cause nothing was on the plug.

I really want to see this new smaller version, I'm on the verge of buying another skimmer. I want a reeflo but the big one wont fit with all the other equipment under my cabinet now. Anyone have the specs yet one the smaller one yet?

Just double ckd the drain plug...u are right...their is an o ring on it..never noticed it before...i guess i need to take the fitting back out of the pump and put the o ring on it. Thanks for mentioning it!!

hulley - We are all waiting for specs and pics but unfortunately MACNA is going on and Jeremy and others are there w/ the little reeflo skimmer. We will probably have to wait till MACNA is over

These I believe are the specs, Jeremy will have to confirm and give performance specs (which I am waiting on.) I saw preproduction pics and it looks like a smaller version of the reflodart. Pretty sweet.IMO

I was told it was the dart with a different style NW impeller.

the dart and the snapper are the same pump with different impellars same as the pumps on the Reeflo skimmers. i think thats what jeremy was saying

I just called Reeflo/Sequence to confim, You are correct.

The Snapper & Dart pumps share the SAME motor, and housing, but differ in impellars.

The Reeflo 250 has a NW pump that is based on the DART
The smaller Reeflo that is being released now, has a NW pump that is based on the SNAPPER

Physically, the pumps will look the same. just different NW impellars.

Thanks JR, I could make that foot print work. Technically I can make the bigger one work but I'd had to go to a smaller reserve tank for my top-off water.

Received mine today and am trying to assemble. The problem I am running into is the input 90 to the DART will not align with the skimmer. If I tighten it I end up with it a full 3/4 of a turn from where it needs to be to line up???? Anyone else run into this and how did you solve it? Here is how it looks tightened as tightly as it will go.

I would say make sure you teflon tape it good and only tighten it as tight as it will go while being inline. Don't tighten it too much and make sure it lines up. The teflon tape will make the seal

Thanks Lunchbucket, I talked to Jeremy as well from PA and he had me separate the black piece a bit and I was able to rotate it. Some teflon tape with that and I should be good to go. A special thanks to Jeremy from Premium Aquatics for calling me from MACNA to help me out, thanks Jeremy!!!!!!!

GSMguy - IIRC the 250 has been out for a little while and Jeremy from PA just got the 200. They are not being sold yet. The hammerhead one is not out either

I don't have pricing on the smaller unit just yet. The unit here is a prototype, and there are only going to be a few small tweaks made, but nothing major. The changes will be more to do with teh collection cup than anything else.
