As long as you are located here in the US, then shipping shouldn't have been more than $50 - $75, just depending on your location. If you are international then the shipping fee will most certainly go up.

Good news on pricing as well, we are going to extend the $1299 intro price until the end of September!

That's great news about the intro price. This may be enough reason for njb2345 (Nick) to buy his 3rd Reeflo!!!

Today is one month with this skimmer and it hasn't slowed down yet. I am amazed at how consistent this skimmer is. It truly is "set it and forget it". I really haven't messed with it since day one. The cup requires cleaning every 3 days...it will be almost full on day 4.

This skimmer pretty much puts my previous skimmers to shame!

For all you skimmer lovers out there -would this skimmer be too much for a 120~130g total water volume tank?

This would be for an eventual heavily stocked sps with fish system

This skimmer would be overkill. wait for the smaller sequence skimmer to become available. It looks like it will be just as good.

The prototype of this skimmer should be here in the next 4-5wks or so. Once it is available I will start updating on it, but it's a scaled down version of the Reeflo 250.

This skimmer looks like a beast, it also kind of reminds me of a smaller version of Spaz's volcano skimmer. I would be interested to see the water flow pattern so to speak. I understand that the water enters the box right by the input of the pump. Is there something in the box to prevent it from leaving the skimmer prior to being processed, since it looks like the water drains from the same box? I'm looking forward to seeing the smaller version as well.

If you don't mind me asking, what is it that you are refering to?

I think construction wise, it's very clean.
Performance wise, pretty good so far.
Engeneering wise .. a few changes i'd make in future revisions:
1. Twist neck
2. Drain in box
3. Removable bubble difuser for easy cleaning of box

4. PVC skimmer cup lid. We all have accidents and the pvc will hold up much better when dropped.

On another note, this is really starting to pull some NASTY sludge out of my tank. This skimmer is awesome!

Looks like mines going to be here friday, now I just have to figure out how to fit it in my already packed stand. That's a good problem to have Forgot to mention that shipping to AZ was around $57 so unless your in russia I don't know where he got $100

Great we expect a full report and a comparison to your current skimmer "ASM G4X Mod"
