Yes ... A lot of my corals started to color up ... Different colors ... Never seen before.
I have what was sold to me as a brown w/ blue tips stag ... It is now turning all blue, with a teal hue ...
All 3 of my torts are gaining more color.
My brown tri-color fuzzy stag is actually showing all 3 colors now ( brown/blue/green)
Would I claim that the skimmer is cause for all of this? No. However I do feel comfortable saying that that it sure helped!
The only other change I have made is hooked my much undersized calcium reactor back up ... It has been off for the last 4 months ... And I have not once tested for alk/calcium ... Or done a water change ... Other than about 50g a month ago when a hose came loose & my sump pumped dry overnight.
The tank has also cleared up A LOT! It is amazing what a good skimmer can pull out!

Hello club,
Just a thought, not a competition, can all of us post our FTS and specs.
So we know who has what, and how the skimmer handles each one.
Beside, with pictures, our club will be more popular.

Yes, heard that a few times. I decided to take my chance. So far so good. It's a scribbled rabbit as well....

very nice. How long has this tank been setup?
I'll have to add .. my tank is fairly new ... setup about 6 months ago, and been adding coral frags heavily in the past 2-3 months. I buy mostly frags, no large colonies.

Here are some pics of my tank.
They are not new though.
I will take some new pics and post soon.
Tank: 300g (5x4x2tall)
System: ~400g (300g SPS, 75g LPS, 90g sum)
Fish: 6 tangs, 1 magnificent foxface, and about 20 small fish)

Mine is a 340 gallon with two external overflows guess'ing on the gallons never did the math. tank is 72" w x 30" T x 36" deep. With a 75 gallon sump. 400 watt hqi currently running coralvue 20k along with two 6ft vho atinics.
PM Cal RX , dart return, barricuda CL and three tunze 6100 on a controller.
Just removed my sand bed but I am planning on adding more back.

Victor, I have the efflos since 2004. The big one is 2' diameter.
