Mike from Reef Specialty stopped by yesterday to replace the NW on the Orca with a prototype mesh wheel. The results on the first wheel were AMAZING! The airpull topped out my Dwyer meter, pinned it above 50scfh at 100 watts. I need another meter to see how much air it is pulling. All I know at this time is that if I turn down the air just a little above half way on the venturi valve, I am hoovering at 50scfh. So my guess is it is pulling some where around 60-70scfh. Unfortunately I have to dial down my water flow, airflow and open up the output all the way inorder to run it. It will be necessary to use the upgrade cup with the mesh wheel though but well worth it. It Literally brings this skimmer to a whole new ball game.
