reeflow pumps

Guys, I just wanted to share my experiences with Reeflo,

As some know, I have a dart on a closed loop on my 240. It tied up for some reason or other. I wrote reeflo (per suggestion here!) I explained what I thought was going on, that the pump was likely out of their promised time frame etc.

Their response, box it up and ship it to us and we will fix it for free.
Ten days after they recieved my pump, I had it back: no bill and a new motor bolted in place. Works like a charm; super quiet and very powerful

Needless to say, I am a reeflo man for life !!

i am thinking about getting a reeflo pump to. i am going to get the reeflo pump and 4 way from oceans motions. what reeflo pump do u recomment to get for a 180? i am going to use it for 2 returns and the 4 ways returns.

I am not the guy to ask for that. There is a link somewhere on Reef Central that has a calculator. First, you need to know the flow needs of your critters then from there the restriction that motion device has, the size and lenght of pipe you will be using, number of elbows etc, along with the elevation change.

There may be a few guys that have done enough tank set-ups to eyeball your set up and tell you what pump but not me.

What I can tell you is that these pumps are very well built, quiet and the brand trustable

too far south for me to know. The Cleveland swap will be a big one though. A very long drive for you but a good one to catch if you can

April 10, there is info on this and the cleveland board already. A very good swap to go to. Its very comparable to the Columbus swap in both size and quality. Also fragswapper.com is up for pre-sale orders (I highly recommend it for beating the crowds)

yep, ,my dart is the closed loop on my 240. But again you need to take the time to add up the restrictions to flow verses what you need to keep the critters happy and select from there
