reeflux 10k and 12k ??

I was running two reeflux 10Ks. After a few weeks, they would not fire when the ballast turned on. They had to be unscrewed and then screwed back in. Wasted money for me, I had to order new bulbs. No more problem.

Did the 10k have the white coating on the inner bulb? If so that was a failed experiment and they no longer make the bulbs with the coating. You should be able to send it back and get a new replacement if you had a coated bulb.

nice ! .... I run the 150w DE 10 k and the color is a little pinkish as well.... but the growth and colors of the corals make up for it : )
