Reeflux 10K's = Pink?

Im running three 250W SE 10K's. They are a very crisp white color. There is no hint of pink to them at all. They are running on Icecap ballasts.

I run 2x250w 10k SE on Coralvue E ballasts and no pink. The first bulb I installed had a bit of pink but after burning in and rotating the bulbs nipple position its a nice cool blue color.
Stupid question, but can DE bulbs be installed nipple up or nipple down and have you tried rotating them 180 degrees?

This might sound stupid, but I'm new to MH. I bought two 150 10k DE Reeflux about two weeks ago and I'm wondering what is this nipple that you guys are talking about. Also there is no pink that I can see with naked eye, just white with a little bit of blue .

if you have DE bulbs you dont need to worry about it, they only go in one way!

but, on a SE bulb, the inner envelope has a small bump or "nipple" from the manufacturing process.

AZ, 250 watt DE and up can only go in the sockets one way. The ceramic ends are keyed for lack of a better word. And in every 250 watt DE I have seen, the nipple is always oriented upward, facing the top of the reflector.
150 watt DE has different ends and it can be installed one of two ways, nipple up or down. Cant be rotated more than maybe 5-10 degrees either, there is a little bit of play in the sockets.

Quis, the "nipple" of the DE bulb is the little button of glass on the outside glass at the center of the bulb. There is also one on the inside on that internal glass bulb.
