Reeflux 250w 10k's color difference

Just finally got around to installing my two Reeflux 250w 10k SE lamps I got from you guys (invoice date of 7/9) and have to say I'm scratching my head a bit. They are both stamped as being 10k bulbs, but one looks much more like the 12k reeflux I've run before. Side by side there is a very obvious color difference looking at the front of the tank. Looking in the canopy, one bulb is burning white, the other blue. ??? Does the blue one need some burn time or something, or is it possible a 12k got labeled as a 10k? Very weird...and a bummer, as I was looking forward to checking out these lights.

Hi Dave,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with one of those lamps. The 10k Reeflux should definitely look more white / ice white than what it does blue. It sounds like Coralvue may have had a bulb, or bulbs, that could have been mislabelled during the manufacturing process. If you'd like, give me a call or shoot me an email today with your last name and I'll make sure we get a replacement right out the door.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Email sent...thanks Jeremy. Not sure what the deal is, but this thing is definitely blue. Box and bulb are both labeled 10k, though.

Got the blue bulb boxed and ready to ship out. The replacement bulb you sent me had two UPS stickers in the box for return mail to you. Do I put them both on there? One is the same size as the one as it was mailed to me, the other sticker is bigger. Both have the same tracking number on it. thanks
