Thanks bud, We will have to see on friday. I am getting my corals and bluespot jaw on friday. My LPS migh thing it is to much light. :hmm5::hmm5:

Allright I was coming home all excited about getting my balast, well I had a UPS note saying I need to sign.:mad2::mad2: SO I am going to the warehouse tonight to pick it up. I will get it all setup tonight and will post some pics of the light.

For sure...you may have to partially shade them. Are you going to be using screens or anything to acclimate?
Oh...bad news. At least you don't have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up.

Yeah luckily I got the lumatek dimable ballast, so I am going to run 250 W for the first day and work my way from there.
I got my light set up and running and it looks so sweet!!!:bounce2::bounce2:
It is really bright on the 400 HQI setting. I am going to love this setup. I will get pics up tom. But let me tell you, pics do not do it any justice.

The picturers look a lot bluer than it really is. I love this pendent and bulb.
Note this was at midnight so my wrasses are in beddy.
FOr some reason my most active fish are my 3 bangais.

Thanks man!!! I am pretty proud of it thus far. I am actually happier with the 400 W instead of the 400 HQI because the HQi is way to bright without a canopy. I mean you need sunglasses to go in the room. The fish are loving it...
I can't wait to get my bluespot jawfish and corals on Friday. I will post a lot of pics that day.

I am getting a droid cell phone today. Hopefully there is a better camera on there compared the one I am using. I really can't get the colors out of the camera that I would like. Looks like a nice camera will be on my list, but I would rather buy livestock first.

same here. i am using a basic Nikon digital camera...i bet i could afford some fancy SLR with all the money I have invested in my tank.. well at least the fish have nice lights!

Amen, I could have had a lot of nice stuff by now if I wasn't in this hobby.
This is 4 days of skimmate. Skimmer is working really well.

I bet they do! I will be getting my corals as well tom. Can't wait. The skimmate is still milky, not as milky, but a light brown color. Still have some sand and rock dust in my water, it will take a while I think. '

Got my corals today. They look great. I would defnitly recomend ordering from atlantis. They threw in an extra red challice fro free.

Jawfish is eating very well tonight. My fiance named him bozo, because he is clown like. I can allready tell he is a character. He has already claimed is sleeping spot.
On a sad note, one of my bangai cardinals died today. I have no clue why, but it sucks because I was hoping to have a dead free tank. Oh well it is inevitable that a fish or two will die. Least the bangai was only $13 instead of $90 like my jawfish. Sorry if this sounds cold.

so you received the corals today and haven't put up pics yet? What's up with THAT? 
Has your Jaw started digging yet? I have to take a look tonight and test the structural integrity of my rock.. which is CRAZY because I have 2 rocks in my tank and the smaller one is at least 10 lbs.. lol.. oh.. He also claimed my Red People Eaters (and three other zoanthid frags) as doors to his cave.. Bozo is a good name.
