Reefobsession 93 Cube Build!!!!

Glad your fish is ok and I hope the welso makes it. Let's see some pics!

Thanks for your kind words. I contacted Atlantis and they said they would make things right with me on the welso. I would take pics right now, but my jawfish is creating a sand storm digging holes all over the place. He is a menace. I am doing some water changes in hopes of getting rid of some of the murky water. I will get some pics up once everything clears up.

I have started vacuuming my sand to try and get some of the dust out. That darn jawfish keeps digging holes in my sand bed, so the water has been cloudy for the last couple days. All my fish and corals are doing well. Hopefully he settles down and stops digging to let the debris settle.

I doubt he'll stop digging, but over time the sand bed will lose most of it's dust-ability so the water clouding won't be much of a problem... however, anything along the live rock in the bottom quarter of the tank will probably be covered with grains of sand most of the time. Be glad you didn't get a pistol shrimp... those things are *really* big diggers.

Yeah hope he stops I can't really look into my tank at besides a milk bath ha ha. I changed his name to denis because he is a mennece. Kinda frustrated

Tank has finally cleared up. I just ordered a pair of Mitch's booyah clowns. I am getting an onyx female and Picasso male. He has a some great fish and was a really nice guy to talk to. I will post pics up on wednesday. All my current fish and corals are doing great. It seems that the rainbow welso is recovering nicely. It has stopped receding.

My tank and light just came in today. I still have to get the skimmer but I hope to set it up soon. You have pm.

Quickcord

I have decided to go with a grade A picasso. I think it will be worth it.

awesome

Where'd you order the clown from?
How's your BSJF doing? Mine is still digging tons of holes and burying my frags... I'm going to have to move them up to the rocks and put some shells in my tank to help him build the caves. ...lol

I am ordering the clowns from Mitch in Chicago. His clowns are know as booyah clowns. I had a tough time between the onyxs and the picassos, so I got one of each. haha:spin3: I had a tough time between him and donni. What sold me was just talking to Mitch in person. He knows a lot about the genetics and lineages of the clowns. He was also very down to earth guy which always impresses me. I would much rather do business with a person that has good people skills and cares about his product and customers. I will get pics on Wednesday morning once I get the little buggers.

The jawfish is doing great. He has made a permanent home and just hangs out with half his body all day. He has quite the bold personality. My xmas wrasse kinda plays peek-a-boo. He comes around the corner and the jaw puffs up. They never bite at each other. Just a little teasing is all. He eats any kind of frozen food. Even formula 1. I am going to be getting rods food soon once I run out of formula 1. My fish are very spoiled. They get no flakes or pellets just mysis and formula 1. My cardinals won't even touch spectrum pellets.

Be careful with the jawfish. I just had mine make his way out of hole not much bigger than half an inch square in my tank, found him the next morning dried up in front of the tank. He learned to eat out of my hand. Quite the fish. I'll try another one some day.

Okay thanks for your input. I hope my jaw can't make it through my 1/4" mesh. He would really have to squeeze through. Let me know if you want to buy the netting I have. I can send you a PM.

Bad day today. I am really worried about the clowns. They didn't make it to my house. I hope they are in a warehouse so the temperature isn't to low. If they are outside in a truck, I fear the worst. It just makes me sick to my stomach. It is not Mitch's fault, stinking USPS. Mitch and I are just really worried about the clowns. Pray for the clowns for me. I hope they come tomorrow in good form.

I hope they make it!

Thanks nUgZ, Here are some pics of my tank and livestock. I am pretty bummed at the moment so I needed to take my mind off the clowns. So here are a lot of pics I took before the light went out.

Enjoy.

any idea what the delay is/was???

I have no idea. That is the most frustrating part for Mitch and I. This is probably harder on him because they are his babies. He has been very supportive and assured me that if the fish are not here alive, that he will send me new ones 100% covered.

Forgot to post a FTS pic.

nice tank shots!! if it is any consolation, UPS/FedEx aren't exactly the most punctual shipping companies either!! I was supposed to get a package by 10:30am, but it did not arrive until after 12:00pm! That doesn't sound like a big deal but when I had to rearrange my schedule so I could be home until 11am and then the package did not come in time, i was super frustrated. thankfully my neighbor was able to take delivery of the box and keep the box in his apartment until I got home around 6pm.
