Reefobsession 93 Cube Build!!!!

nice tank shots!! if it is any consolation, UPS/FedEx aren't exactly the most punctual shipping companies either!! I was supposed to get a package by 10:30am, but it did not arrive until after 12:00pm! That doesn't sound like a big deal but when I had to rearrange my schedule so I could be home until 11am and then the package did not come in time, i was super frustrated. thankfully my neighbor was able to take delivery of the box and keep the box in his apartment until I got home around 6pm.

Yeah I hate that. I know that USPS Express actually uses FedEx for their overnight service. That is lame about the time issue. I was really frustrated that I was home from 2 to 6 hoping that my package would come. Man was I in knots.

On another note.
I just thought I would check the tracking number. The clowns just arrived in Indianapolis Indiana. :mad2::mad2: This throes me through a loop. Mitch lives in the chicagoland area. It is only 150 miles away from where I live. I was contemplating on going there and meeting Mitch and picking out the clowns myself. But I really don't have time taking 21 credit hours. :sad2: The upside is that they are in a heated facility. I just hope that I open a box up of healthy clowns. I all ready have the names for them if they make it.
Lucky and Hope.
I hope they make it home.

are there weather issues?

not to burst your bubble, but how do you know the fish are in a heated facility??

No weather issues I can think of. You are right about the facility having the possibility of no heat. I sure hope so. All I know is the temp is in the 30's.
:uzi:USPS

Great news guys! Fish came in great shape this morning. The temperature in the bag was 68 degrees. I am very lucky that they were in a heated facility overnight. Mitch and I have a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. I will get some pics of them a little later. Looks like the picasso is about an 1.25" and the onyx is 1.5" long. They have allot of growing up to do.
There names are Lucky and Hope. They made it through the winter weather. I can't tell you how happy I am.

Congrats! I'm actually building a 93 gallon tank too, exactly as yours, so your thread is very helpful. Thanks!

congrats on the SUCCESSFUL LIVE ARRIVAL of the fish. watch out for ich due to all that stress!!
Thanks you dont know how relieved I am. I know this is bad but I dont qt. I am just picky on fish. I tend to like wrasses because they don't carry diseases as much it seems. I'll knock on wood but I have never had a wrasse that brought a disease. I stay away from tangs and angles. I have the worst luck with them. Ill keep my fingers crossed
M
The Picasso seems to be the dominant fish it is really bold andwent up to all the fish that were out. I am going to bet that she will become the female.

I got a lot of pics that I will post in a hour or so

Ok heres are some pics. These pics are of the clowns in a measuring cup and when I put them in the tank without the lights on.

I apologize for the dust in the corner on the glass and the overflow. I need to clean that off. Clowns are doing very well. They have allready eaten and have allready been introduced to their neighbors (fish). No agression what so ever. When I first put them in there the bangais got excited and thought they were food. But they realized that they were just clowns. Poor bangais. haha. I will get some pics up shortly of the tank with lights on.

Wow, they are so small!! Or is the tank so big?
Good they didn't eat the clowns. They must taste funny. :lmao:

Okay here are some pics of the clowns in the tank with the lights on.

looking good. congrats!

Thanks so much. I'm am one happy person right now. I will be going to Colorado next week with my family to snowboard. I have a sitter to feed and watch over my tank. She is a friend of me and my finance. I will set out a weeks worth of food for her to feed. I will separate them into a daily food serving.

Clowns are doing great!!! They are eating well and seem very happy with all the space they are getting. I am trading my octopus 2000XP cone skimmer for an I-tech 100. The octo has been working great for me. I just have very little room in my sump. I wanted an I-tech to begin with, but when I traded my alpha 170 I couldn't pass up the octo cone plus a brand new MP20. Looking forward to the skimmer, I know I will be losing some performance.
