ReefTopia Group Order!

Personally, I'm not sure... reeftopia is the only place I've seen them. Maybe we should post somewhere and ask of experiences with them... I will go ahead and ask. :)

I got some golden astreas from a past order. Just look like regular astreas except the shells was a whitish/yellowish color. They was kind of small. I think AC carries them or has had the golden astreas before.

Also, I've decided to just take payment when you all pick up.

I would rather not deliver directly to everyone, so if we could decide on a central meeting place, that would be cool. I'm up for anywhere. Mike, I know you may not get off of work in time, so we'll play that by ear.

Also, I will be placing this order on Wednesday, September 19th for delivery on Friday, September 21st.

Maybe they are just younger astreas that haven't became coralling encrusted yet? I would think the shells might be growing so fast at that size that coralline couldn't grow on them. If that is the case I will go with those. If they are smaller maybe they will live longer.

Oh, also, make it 6 pipefish for me instead of 4.
 
I went with the 100 last time and did a split with a few people. I dont think there is a single golden astrea left. They was actually for my brother and he was constantly having to turn them back over. They just kept falling off the glass or rocks it seems. But the last order I got the reg. turbo astreas and they seem to be doin fine. I'm willing to try them again though if we can get enough people to split the 100. It's 35.00 for 100 golden astreas. That's .35 cents a snail. I would take 30-40, leaving 60-70. How does that sound?

I think I'd like to try them as well. I'd like to get 20 to 30.

Anyone else like to get a smaller quantity than 100?

40 will be fine with me unless Mary wants some. I think she was wanting 12 turbos (astreas) which are $10. She could get 12 golden astreas for $4.20. So that would be...

or just keep it as it is, 40/30/30. I was able to find some of the golden astrea shells to give you an idea of the size I got.

Did we ever figure a place to meet for those way west ? I am about 15 mins on the other side of Franklin. Just wondering , but I am still in either way.
 
Hmmmm... we did not.

What about the aquatic critter first and then meeting at EBay? Would that cover the bases well enough?

I'll have to make sure I get my wife's car to have better gas mileage... lol... I'll probably need it for the space, too, though...

I have not been to either but willing to tell onstar where i need to go. The only store i have been to has been FINS but this will give me the excuse to check out the others.
 
ewwwww, maybe he needs to "check out" fins......that day....how nice that would be for us....., hey Avalanche? (hint hint..).....
