I never bought any fish from them. I'm stocked as far as fish go. I have been in the store a good number of times, I always thought his fish looked very good and well cared for.
I'm only responding because I heard their name brought up a number of times... tropiquatics. I have a good number of fish from this store. As far as success rates with fish, they don't get better. I lost 2 fish that I purchased from them... a bartlett anthias and a solar wrasse, both were not due to anything they did (solar wrasse decided the power head was a nice place to seek shelter while I was doing a WC and bartlett anthias was picked on by siblings and refused to come out to eat). Both were doing well up until their demise. 6 of my 13 fish came from them. I've had them all over a year and they continue to thrive.
I'm not saying tropiquatics does an excellent job with their fish, I'm saying their supplier does an excellent job with their fish... either that or I am just plain lucky.
I spoke with one of their sales people regarding their supplier... Matt. He told me they order fish in from Exotic Reef Imports, the vendor you see on the show Tanked.
On the same note though... I have seen fish that have sat in this store for weeks. You basically watch them wither away. The trick is to purchase them on their stock day, before they get exposed to any baddies.
