Referral for tank movers

Hi everyone!

I am moving in late May and I am wondering if anyone knows of a company who moves reefs. If you've used them, even better. I would much rather pay someone than have to deal with moving 125gal tank myself.

I would say to try someone like aquamart who can have a place to hold your stock while the tank is being moved as well...

For those that don't know, Cris Capp is Aquatic Art Inc.... he and his crew do great work, but not sure if he does tank moves.

Where are you moving from, and where to?
That would help us decide if we can even help.

The best way to move a tank is to have a new setup already cycled at the new location.
If you cant afford a whole new display, consider setting up a decent sized tank that would eventually become your sump.
Set it up & let it cycle ( I used old water from water changes of the old tank to start the new ).
Once it has cycled, move all your livestock into that then take your time moving the display.

I would still do it that way even if I hired a tank moving company.

I am moving from Highlands Ranch to Aurora.

My intent is to set up two smaller tanks at the new house (my quarantine and one other) and let those run for a couple days, filled with water taken from the DT and some live rock. Then I can utilize them to hold my fish in one and my corals and other inverts in the other. What I really need is for someone to move the tank/stand/canopy, DSB, and whatever live rock I didn't use in the two holding tanks. Luckily I have a rather small bioload so moving the livestock is the easy part. Its all the heavy stuff I don't want to do.
