Reflector Issues...

I recently purchased 2 Sunlight Supply Reef Optix 2 reflectors. I thought the plugs would fit my PFO dual ballast, but they do not. Is there a conversion plug available? Do you offer an exchange program? I have sent this message to customer support as well.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your post, unfortunately I don have a conversion plug available for that but there is one way you can do it though. You will first need the PFO Metal Halide Quick Disconnect with 8 Foot Cord Found here. http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=PF2813
What you will need to do is cutt of the plugs of the Sunlight Supply Reef Optix and splice the PFO Metal Halide Quick Disconnect in. It is a very simple task to do, but keep in mind that any modifications to the Sunlight Supply Reef Optix 2 reflectors will void any manufacturer warranty. Thanks for the reply. This is what I have chosen to do, the order was placed early this morning. Once I realized it would cost more with the restocking fee I just bought 2 of the cords and disconnects. I am, however, going to rewire the sockets as opposed to splicing the connects.
