Refuge set up

I am setting up a refuge, that is easy to pipe..
If you had the choice would you pipe all return @ 200Gph
To the fuge then the slump for skimmer & live rock..
or skimmer slump first - then to refuge?
(hope this makes sense)

I would say take it from display -> slump -> refuge back to display.

But it really depends on how you want it to function. If you want the fuge to provide pods to the display, then have it after the skimmer. But if you want the fuge to provide a low flow environment for a baby seahorse, then it might be better to have the display empty into the fuge (and provide more food to the fuge) before going to the skimmer.

Thanks Josh.. BTW, found my seahorse...
I was thinking that, Many years ago (10?) we used to dump to alage filter first.. skimmer area was last compartment..
But, we do alot of stuff differently now
