Although there will always be individual exceptions, my sense is (from both personal experience and reports from others) is that Zooanthids will be eaten with gusto, LPS and clams may be bothered, but SPS will be left alone.
My regal doesn't touch zoas, and IMO it wouldn't be that beneficial to try to offer coral. Look into culturing macroalgae and sponges instead, my regal loves it.
I have had my regal for over a year now. I have 1000's of zoas, tons of lps, sps and piles of xenia and it doesn't touch anything. Somedays the fish is very shy, and sometimes she is out and about without hesitiation.
The one I had in a reef ate any brain corals, after a few moths of being fine with chalices, ate all the chaliices over a weekend, constantly nipped at a dendrophyllia colony, but never touched zoas, polyps, or sps.
had mine for a few years now and is hit or miss on Zoas...eats some and leaves others alone...also eats zenia, any type of sponge, clams and acans..leaves chalices and othes LPS alone...Euphylilla etc...ignores SPS.
