Regal angel hasn't eaten in a month?

I have a 500 gallon sps Dom tank with ton of live rock and fish I got a pair of regals one eats great the smaller one.. But bigger one I have never seen eat but he still looks ok not plump or anything but not sickly either ? Possible eating off rocks but how long will that keep him alive anyone else seen this

If you have a healthy and well established reef with lots of rock, angels can do well without taking any prepared foods. As long as the fish doesn't look emaciated I wouldn't worry about it.

Just keep watching your fish leave alone to it starts behaving different

he is probably getting enough to eat to survive. he would be emaciated by now if he did not eat anything. regals are usually very difficult to get to eat prepared foods. i would try mussels or clams in a half shell. i have kept many regals in the past and that is how i got them to begin eating.

x2...got mine started on clam on th half shell also...it is probably eatng all your sponges, worms, softies etc.. in the rockwork.

I am wierd and never had a problem with a Regal not eating but i am willing to bet he would be dead by now if ge wasnt eating something. Your established reef is what is keeping him going. Dont worry e will come around and start eating soon enough.
