We have a regal tang we're going to be selling. I should be finished up with taking everything out of the tank and moving rocks by this weekend, at which point I could actually get it out... and this weekend is when I would prefer you picking him up so that he doesn't get stuck in a small tank for any length of time.

I am about 90% sure someone already inquired about this fish, but I can't find it in my PM's (probably erased due to the ridiculously low cap on messages), so please let me know if it was you and it will probably jar my memory.

This is a decent sized fish right now, probably 5-6 inches if I had to guess and it will be getting much bigger, so please only respond if you have the space to keep him and keep him healthy and happy.

I guess $40 is a fair price.

We might also have to part with a school of 5 green chromis', so let me know if anyone wants them and I'll get a better idea of that as we finish taking this thing down. They've been together for at least 5 months at this point and no casualties... but it probably needs to be a decent sized tank so they can go their separate ways when mad.

brian...i'll take the tang and chromis....my 90 is a little bare since i only have 4 small fish in there and 1 good sized yellow tang

actually, do you think he'll be fine in a 90?...or would you prefer for him to go to a bigger home?....i'll understand if you decide against it but i do want the chromis though

John- I'll let you know on the chromis'. As far as the tang, it came out of a 90 maybe 5 months ago, but it also grew a couple of inches since then. I'm not really sure it is the best idea (especially if you've already got a tang). I'm also not an expert on fish, so I don't know if that is being overly conservative. I've seen some tang police lights in these here parts, so maybe we'll get a piece of their mind.

I have a Regal together with a Yellow with no issues in a 90. They get along great, the only ones that never fight. Which is strange since the Regal picks on everyone else. Dory have killed Chromis, Anthias, and Gobies. VERY BAD Regal Tang!!! But it leaves the Clowns and the Yellow Tang alone. It still bugs my Velvet Wrasse and Foxface sometimes......

which one can i put in my newly cycled 12-gallon nano???? LOL

its no biggie brian...i would consider myself pretty conservative too when it comes to fish selection....its the reason why i only have 5 fish in my 90 (2 occ clowns, 1 chromis, 1 spotted mandarin, 1 yellow tang)

you definitely deserve the right to choose who's best for your babies...good luck man!

I personally think a 90 might stress it out a little and they are very prone to HLLE. If it was a small regal it would be different but I bet it did get a big growth surge when it went to the big tank. All my tangs went growing crazy when they got in the big tank.

Brian,
I've got a 220 gallon mixed reef, with no tangs, that I've been trying to find a decent sized and healthy hippo for. If you've still got him, maybe we can work something out.
Unfortunately I don't have any plans to go west in the near future, I'm in Knoxville.
Thanks.
Kevin.

I'll be heading to Knoxville for Thanksgiving and wouldn't mind taking it with me, if nothing else. Its a long way off, but it would be free shipping. ;)

Brandon, thanks for the offer. We are still working out the timing details, but if needed I will let you know.
