Regal Tang Eats Corals!

Mine ate all of my colourful Zoas. I had to get rid of all of them except the brown/pink which it doesn't seem to like But as others have mentioned. It's quite common for a Hippo/Regal to become a coral eater as they grow up.

Hi, I fed my tang lots of nori and other items by hand to be sure he/she was getting enough to eat and she slowed on eating corals but never completely stopped. One day she just died, never stopped eating or appeared sick. That fish was with me over 11 years. It was a sad day. Thanks for asking : ).

Ahh sad to hear! My tang is few years old. About 6.5" and started eating my hammer coral, and goniopora/Flowerpot Coral, seems if i heavy feed nori it slows down.. not much though. Would hate to get rid of him!
