Regal tang gone purple advice!

Hi,

I have a regal tang and last nite I noticed this strange mark on its side today when the lights came on it doesn't look good but the tang is acting completely normal, swimming eating ect, the mark just appeared over a 24hour period so I'm hoping it's just a nasty scratch from the live rock. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance!

1. Is that red in the pic, actually this red?
2. Is the wound like an ulcer, where there is missing flesh? Or is the color on top of the normal surface of the skin.
