Regional Club Frag Swap: Planning

PayPal Payments

PayPal Payments

Hi everyone,

I'm happy to announce that we are now at 50% of our attendance goal.

I'd also like to note in advance to those that haven't already sent in their payment for lunch and 'Buy In Fee' (if you're not putting in frags). The account that I had set-up for this is a Personal Account, which doesn't incur any PayPal fees for accepting payments.

Unfortunately, it doesn't allow payments from debit or credit cards, and must come from PayPal funds. I'd like to keep this account as a Personal Account, so more proceeds will go to charity.

Please let me know through PM that if for some reason, you are not able to process your payment with PayPal funds, I can provide you with a Premier PayPal account that can accept debit and credit payments.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your consideration.

Regards,

Karl

The 'Buy In' will be $15.00, and is for those that would like to be eligible to pick in the swap, but do not have frags of their own to contribute.

:)

I can carpool anyone from the Concord, Pleasant Hill or Pittsburg BART stations. They are a bit in the opposite direction for me, but not nearly as much as some are travelling that day. I would have room for up to 7 people with small coolers (5 or so with larger coolers).

Hey Guys, do we want to Bart out to Tom? Or maybe I drive out to his place and meetup? I always wanted to see his tank. : )

Ummm...no Barting out to Tom - it would mean Barting back to SF with a big filled cooler.

Driving out to Tom's is okay by me.

Hey Tom,

Let me know if my idea is ok with you (and my riders). Otherwise I will just drive straight to Elk Grove.

We are out the end of I-4, which is a detour from the route you would likely take. You are all more than welcome, but bear in mind that we are in the midst (and will still be) of trying to get the new 380 up and running, so the main tank has taken sort of a back seat, what with the rearranging of the sump and other equiptment to make room for the new tank (the sump occupied part of the same place the new tank will eventually go). Not to mention with it being an in-wall I have no idea what state the interior of the house will be in at that point :)

All of that being said, sure, I am fine with that :)

ok, I will go straight to Elk grove. When your new digs are up, then maybe we stop by and see. : )

aw, c'mon Tom it can't or won't be that bad.

Geez, I sat on a 120 for about two years, a tank sitting on a bare stand for another six months, and did I mention my garage is a complete mess.

Me thinks that we will all be awed by what you have setup - oooo btw, we get to meet the dogs too right?

Doggies will be present and accounted for. I was going to post some picts of them but didn't want to drag this thread totally off topic :) So here are just two picts of them, resting and playing :) Karl has met the smaller two, but he has yet to meet the new big one :)

The tank is in good shape (better than the house :)). By that time things should be quieted down as far as "construction" goes, but I know hte new tank won't be set up completely by then. I really don't have a problem with having you all over, I just wanted to preface that with the work being done and the possibility that it will be a less than tidy household :). I am moving the prop tank this weekend and possibly the sump (if not then the sump will move next weekend). Those should be the last upheaval as far as the current tank is concerned :). I just hope to get this 180 starfire out of the livingroom (it is now sitting where the dinig room table used to sit, waiting for either help to move it into the garage or someone to come buy and pick it up :)).

The horses are our back yard's neighbors horses. One of the last leftovers from before this area was officially a city. They keep everything neat and tidy so it is not bad having them as neighbors. It is actually pretty kewl, since all of our friends with kids love to come over so their kids can see the "horseys" :)

Tom's kids are a lively bunch. Hopefully, I'll get to meet the new addition someday. Although, I have enough pictures to last a lifetime.

That last pic of you looks like you're wearing jumpsoles. Were you in the Warriors training camp this year?:p

They are just sport sandals, a throwback habit to my soccer years (wore these, or ones like them, to the field and changed into the soccer clears at the sideline, made it easier to drive, etc, that way :)).

We are now at 80% of our minimum goal of 50!:D

I'd also like to announce another supporter that will be joining Gresham and Reef-Nutrition www.reefnutrition.com in sponsoring the event. John Dakan of Your Reef www.yourreef.com , will be contributing some live coral to the Charity Raffle!

John and Your Reef have been an integral part of our local and online reef community for the past 2 years, providing the healthiest livestock at incredible prices. Not to mention, the great service.

Thank you, John:)

definitely... this is shaping up to be a very sweet swap, all around.

Karl, just how many more people do we need to meet our goal ? (I can always try to drag some friends along :)).
