remora skimmer

has anyone been using a remora hang on skimmer? if so is it an efficent skimmer

There's no objective data on skimmer performance, but there are lots of opinions. The Remora gets varying reviews, as do most skimmers in this price range. How big is the tank for this skimmer?

I have one with the skimmer box on a 46 gallon bowfront and it works great for me, no problems at all.

I'd go for the Remora Pro or some other skimmer. The Remora might be okay, though. A lot depends on the animals that are going to be kept. Some fish are messy eaters; some corals are picky.
