Yea, you will need to wear some glove -- otherwise it will stick to your hand and won't get anywhere.
Clear as much (( if not all )) of the sand away from it and GENTLY work the edges of the foot to get it to release. I can't stress enough to be GENTLE during the process. It is very easy to end up damaging it. I did that with my blue Haddoni years ago, got very lucky that it made a full recovery.
And I wouldn't be surprised if part of the foot is attached to the underside of one (( if not both )) of the rocks. Will have to be very careful about that part. I recently moved my tan one to another tank, and it was attached to the underside of the rock, and the glass bottom of the tank. The glass was the easy part. As for the rock, I now have 3 smaller rocks -- I chiseled it apart.
