Removing Anthelia

I have some pink anthelia (sp?) and it is starting to go all over the place, and I want to get rid of it. How is the best way, and safest way, to remove it.

Also if anybody wants some I would sell it CHEAP. Thanks

This procedure possibly many times - just like aptasia and xenia.

I used to think the anthelia and xenia were kewl - more of a pest IMO.

If you're careful, you can rip up sections (along with stolons) very easily. No matter how much damage you do to it while removing it, frags always seem to spring back to life. Unfortunately, IME, it tends to increase growth on the mother colony.

I started with 3 stalks and now I have over 100 in like 4 months, think that's not too shabby, but yeah they are starting to expand outward and that is irritating me! I'll give the ole razor a try....anybody want some? LOL?

Pump some kalk paste into their unsuspecting mouths, that works for me ... they turn into a pile of slime and disintegrate.

That worked to kill a lot of my anthelia. But I honestly don't think I'll be happy with my tank until I tear it entirely down and start over.

Too much GSP and Anthelia crowding out my tank.
