Removing coralline algae

Well my 55 is no more and I sold the rest of my LR. Now I have the chore of removing all the coralline algae from the tank glass. Any ideas?

ps Scrappers don't work.

Vinegar and a plastic scraper. Even filling it up and pouring two gallons of vinegar and letting it sit overnight. Then that scraper will work with little effort

I used a razor blade scrapper found at the local hardware store. It cut through it like butter.

+1 - - on vinegar, scrapes off easier after soaking in vinegar and water

Vinegar presoak + razor blade. I use a carton cutter.

I use a standard utility razor blade. It takes it right off, 1 swipe.

The vinegar and I use wallpaper razorblades with thick handles, you can get a lot more ummph behind them.

im going to go the vinegar/ water rout. the razor couldn't cut through most of it by itself.

Fill the tank and add muriatic acid to the water. It will wipe off with no effort or scraping (home depo or pool store)

wouldn't the muriatic acid be bad on the silicon joints??
