Removing Garlic from Rod's?

I got a pack of Rod's Original for my fish today, they love the stuff. I personally do not like the use of garlic, so I was wondering if there was a way to remove the garlic from the food at all?

I am pretty sure they use minced garlic so it cant be removed...
I have been using Larry's Reef Frenzy and he makes a garlic-free version for me...great stuff...
In the standard versions of his food he uses garlic water and it is possible to rinse much of the garlic out...
I just want to avoid having to rinse it...
Call Larry, he is a great guy...
lol, I keep telling him to produce a "garlic free" version that is readily avail to all...

Weather kept us home today; great to see Michelson win the Open. I'm also glad to see some discussion on the nonsense that garlic is magical. It is, when mixed with clams and olive oil and dogs love it. But for fish, I avoid it too. There is some convincing research linking long-term garlic use to liver problems. but it bit seems everything is linked to fish's liver problems. Its amazing how many threads, especially in the new hobbyists section, include feeding garlic as a vital part of their situation.

You've said some great things on this forum; but think about your question a second. get garlic out of a chopped & shredded dry mix?

Luca Brasi could probably get it out; but he was garroted in the Godfather (Part I, I think.)

some don't use minced or chopped garlic but add garlic infused water...this can kinda be rinsed out...as mentioned, Larry makes a special "garlic-free" version for me but you need to purchase a bit...I would be happy to include you in my next food order from him if you want...
lol, poor Luca, yes, GF1...

I'd be interested, what all is in the mix?

I might even make my own food at some point but wan to wait to do so until I have all of my fish, as well as them eating most everything so I dot have too much waste to worry about.

Kyle,

The last batch, which I received a few days ago, was shrimp, perch, haddock, scallop, tuna, squid, pe Mysis, clam, mussel, oysters, krill- all enriched with omega-3 fatty acids, ascorbic acid.
He makes this with just ro and not the garlic dosed ro he would normally use.
In addition to garlic free, he makes me a "chunky" version that my big fish love...larrysreeffrenzy
I still use pe Mysis, spirulina brine, silversides, fresh clams etc but the above is great stuff...

+1 on Larry's food. He doesn't live too far from me and makes great food that is fresh off the NC boats without the normal phosphates added in to keep seafood fresh.

I keep telling him I am going to make a fish cake out of his food one day...
