removing silicone

Replaced the second cracked tank for the sump. I need to remove the silicone from around a couple of holes drills into the glass so I can REsilicone the new connectors in.

What's the best method besides a razor blade and 30 minutes of picking? Any reef safe household solvents?

Thanks

Wasn't sure if there was a solvent that'd make short work of it? Its in and around the drilled holes so its gonna be a PITA.

I have a couple shirts that have had silicone on them for a long time now, it says that stuff works on clothing. I think I might give it a try.
