removing the back panel from my 36 bow

Can anyone explane to me how to get the glass panel off my 36 bow? I have removed the frames, sliced and removed all of the silicone from the corners but it still seems stuck in there good. I'm afraid of breaking the glass and needing stitches. I am very surprised that silicone holds this good. I read that I can use wire. I can't get the wire in-between the 2 pices of glass. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I cracked the glass a while ago here is a link to my images of my aquarium and others http://www.flickr.com/photos/skippy12094/. I drilled the hole for the bulk head with no problem but miss calculated for the molding on the top so it leaked because it wouldn't tighten up so stupid me drank more Heineken and figured I'd try to fix it well it didn't go so good for me or the fish because I grabbed the piece of pvc and yanked it out of frustration and cracked the tank. So that pic is the tank and I have a new one in place but wanted to rebuild the old one and maybe sell it or make it into a fresh water or coral tank. I don't know.

although this may be a nice diy & a learning process it may be more beneficial & cheep to just look for a replacement on your local forum or craigslist. this way you don't have to pull your hair out when you are filling it back with water.

Yea I already bought another 36 bow to replace the one I cracked. I just wanted the experience of having repaired on just in case someone ever asked me if I could repair their aquarium then I could say that I have done one before.
