Removing zoas

I like Triggers

Hey everyone, my friend gave me a large rock from his tank and it has some nice zoas on it. 2 types I am real interested in keeping. One is peach, green, and brown. The other ones are blue and red. The problem is green star polyps are about an inch away from taking them over. I only have sprouted 3 blues on it. Is my best bet to chisle the rock and break it to keep the zoas? Or is it possible to remove them from the rocks?

I would just brake the rock between the GSP, and zoos. As long as they stay jointed the GSP will rule and win the battle

If you can get under the mat.... you should be able to peel them right off....... then mail them to Msman825 he loves them

haha. Thanks for the replies. I am gonna break the rock up. The GSP will eventually just come back to the zoas... The rock is about 25 pounds or more. Its massive, and COVERED in GSP. Its an LPS/softie tank so I plan to just put the star polyps up top against the backwall, so they mostly grow up and away from my other corals.
