Renton's Upgrade

I'm loving the display with a let less clutter on the bottom & no frag rack:thumbsup:

Skimmer's a beast!

I had a snowflake years ago and he crawled out at night and was jerky by the next morning. You may want to cover that tank before lights out each evening.

I've went back to this page upwards of a dozen times to give you a hard time and still can't come up with anything. You left my troll inside speachless. My window is up. Well done. Your tank is amazing. One of the top 25 I've seen in fairview park.

Spectacular!

Thanks!

Wow, simply wow. Thanks for posting the pics.

Glad you like it. I like posting pictures when time allows.

Still working on clutter a bit. The Skimmer is really working well now. I will keep an eye on the snowflake.

Awesome pics. Even nicer in person.

Thanks, glad you were able to stop by.

How high are your LED's over your water line and what kind of PAR are you giving your low light loving corals like your chalices Nathan?

Funny you asked, just measured par for the first time ever a couple of weeks ago. They say that par meters give low readings on LED's so keep that in mind. The numbers below are what the par meter read.

I think the AI Sols are 14" and the Orphek Atlantik is more like 16" to 18".

In the display tank the chalices are getting 80 or less, in some cases much less. With the exception of the pink boobies chalice which is some where between 100 and 120 I believe.

Highest Par in both tanks is around 280 to 300, which surprised me as relatively low. But hey, the acros grow and look nice.

Cool thank you for information. I think anything less then 100 is perfect for the chalices. Keep up the great work bud.

I did some quick par readings and jotted them down. I have heard that par meters under report led readings, so you may want to keep that in mind.
