Cutting tempered glass

just called a local glass shop; you can't cut tempered glass. You have to cut the glass to size first, then do the tempering process. Most shops won't do a small piece of glass and if they do, it's expensive. Hope this helps...

Ha ha...looks that way, although I didn't see a resolution and I need tempered glass for my light fixture. Anyone make any headway?

Metal Halite lights are very very hot. You need at least glass to withstand the heat.
