Replacement Bulbs for 20" Current 6x18watt Fixture

I know they are 18"-18watt... But what should I use for a good combo....

I'd like to replace all 6 if possible!

Any and all help, always appreciated!

Three companies make 18w bulbs, Current, UVL, and AquaticLife. I think UVL will probably give you the best options. I'm not too sure on the best color combination though. Maybe try 4x 454's, 1 red sun, and 1 aqua sun. That's a total shot in the dark though.

I don't think UVL went though with comercial production of 20" 18w bulbs. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Great, then I believe this is the best option for the OP. A combo of 4 454 blue and 2 Aqua Sun should be nice, maybe throw 1 Super Actinic in the mix for dusk and dawn.


PS. I refrained from buying the 20" current NEP fixture for my Solana because I didn't see these bulbs were available. Funny that UVL doesn't list them in their website, and when I emailed them they never replied.
