My sedra 3500 died yesterday. I want to replace it with either a sedra 5000 or a GENX4100. Whats the better choice? I've heard the GENX's can be loud, but I've also heard the sedras have poor track records.
Looks like a sedra5000 won't fit in my sump. Can I order a regular sedra3500 and just put the old needlewheel impeller on it? The regular sedras look different than the replacement ones.
