replacing skimmer pump

i think i need to replace my Sedra 3500 on my Euroreef CS-80 (roughly 21" tall 5" in diameter). Never really liked its performance to being with but I was wondering which bubble blaster pump would be best for my skimmer. I know alot of people are asking this questions lately but everyones skimmers are different. should I go with the HY-1000 or the HY-2000.

hy-1000, the 2000 will overpower it.

Agreed, anything bigger than the BB1000 would overpower that 5" body on the CS80.

glad i asked. not sure what was gonna happen with the bigger pump
