Restart Issues

I have a Comline Reefpack 500 which I've been using for years - excellent product. Anyway, neither the skimmer or the filter will restart after a power interruption anymore unless they are absolutely clean. The unit is about 6 yrs old I think. Are there specific components which I can replace to resolve this issue or does the unit need replacement?

The drive units are binding up and not restarting, you need a 3000.600 for each. The brakes have likely worn and now lock up so it cannot start.
