Just make sure the output is 24v DC with 1.3amp and it will work just fine. Your local Radio Shack should have something like it also.

The problem is that it has a very unique plug that goes out of the transformer into the controller.

So I don't think another tranformer would work correctly.

I have been trying to find a step-down converter that will fit the hong kong plug but all I can find is one that will fit the European plug????
If anyone knows where I could get this I would appreciate it, or if anyone wants this pump for $90.00 shipped to them , I will do that too.

Dude. The AC transformer is what you are replacing and that conatins that weird HK plug as well. The connector from the DC to the transformer shouldn't be anything abnormal.

-Edit- Nevermind I know what you're referring to now. What's to stop you from splciing that connector and put that on the normal AC transformer?

No, funky little plug is hardwired into the controller.

I have transformer from a laptop sitting right here. I am looking at it, trying to see how to fix it up.

If you look at the controller pics, the cord that is hardwired in goes straight to the transformer.

Do you know where I can get a converter that would work?

Nothing I guess, however I just looked and my laptop tranformer is only 19V

well.. the cord has 2 wires correct? And there are 2 wires on the plug of the "normal" transformer (AKA laptop transformer)

Ok i have just ordered one of these resun wavers if i do away with the controller box and wire the pump straight into a transformer which is 24v DC 1.5A will it work at full speed constantly?

Is that the correct specs the pump needs?
