Its been some time since I have done much with my tank. But I decided to jump back in. I'm In the process of water changing and fixing skimmer. My circulation pumps are shot.

What do you guys think of these Hydor Koralia pumps. The Tunze are a bit pricey.

I see you live in Windsor... Go bug Tom, Mike and Jeff. I still have to do that. Their full of knowledge and always helpful! I have a Korlia and love it in my new tank.

for the price, the koralia's work well. no good on controller though. I am eventually going to get Tunze's like everybody else

I think Tom has some real positive feedback on the newer maxijet sureflow mods. I am going to get a few for the 210

If you are petience, Algeafree is working on a controller for the sureflow mj-mod, the controller will be simmilar to the tunze controller with alot more setting options. In the mean time just get the sureflow kit and a couple of MJs and algeafree magnet mounts

if you are not looking to use a controler they are good. but like mike says they are junk for controller use.

Yeah... they are great for circulation, but like Mike said, not good on a controller. I use mine on a ReefKeeper2 and they make lots of noise when starting up. But still going strong after 4 months.

I also think the sureflow kit is a great mod for the mj. Just keep them on and don't use a controller. With a new mj, mod, and magnet holder your looking at around $60 bucks. You can cut cost by doing your own magnet holder. I have two mods and a hydor4, the mods push a lot more than the hydor. Plus it's smaller than the hydors.

Sure did:eek1: . They make a huge difference. Without the prop they still pushed more than the hydor4, with the Dumas they blow it away. I am very happy with them, I want two more.
