Return and Flow for a 190g?

I am purchasing my return pump and power heads for my DSA 190g tank. It is 60x27x27. It has three drains and two returns. Planning on doing a bean animal overflow to keep it silent. I am not as familiar with return pumps as I am power heads, what would be a good recommendation? The tank will be SPS dominated so I need lots of flow. Also I was planning on either 2 WP40s or 2 Tunze 6105, would either be enough? The WPs would save alot of money.

If your goal is long term then go for equipment that has a history of long term reliability. The Jebao's have price going for them, but little else. A pair of 6105's would be a good fit. Return pumps are a bit trickier. Are you planning on running other devices off of it like reactors? How much tank to sump turnover are you wanting?

I shot for 3-5x the DT turnover, for my 180 gal I have about 600gph going through a 75 gal sump, if you have too much flow going through your sump the filtration becomes less effective ( skimmer and media reactors)

You can use power heads/closed loop/circulation pumps for extra water movement

I purchased a SpeedWave DC pump (model 10000 or whatever it is) for my return flow. Great pump - quiet and adjustable speeds. Also it's a really good price.

Can't speak to the powerheads though as I still haven't gotten that far in my build.

Good luck!
