return pump for 180????

Just picked up my new Oceanic 180 monday. I'm converting from a 72 so it's a big jump. I use a panworld/blue line pump. Awesome, and silent, great price. I'm setting up a basement sump system that will go to the two returns in the two overflows.

I was going to go with the biggest panworld the 250ps 1900gph max at 45' head, 390watts, for about$320.

Is there a better, stronger, more energy efficient pump in your experience, comparable in price?

Does anyone use 2 separate pumps for the 2 separate overflows?

Thanks.

I use an Iwaki 100 @ about 11' head, from the crawlspace below the tank. I have it T'd off to feed the chiller, about a couple hundred gph. Not sure about efficiency and does make some noise.

Noise won't be so much of an issue. It'll be in the basement. Just want to get the best combo of output, efficiency, and price. Don't have a grand to drop on a red dragon. Can't find them anyway.

The tank's going to be primarily SPS, some LPS. So turnover is going to be an issue. I'm using tunze streams inside the display.

I use a Sequence Manta Ray on my 180 with basement sump. It is probably overkill but other than the Tunze streams it is the only pump on my system. It feeds my return, refugium, PM Bullet 3 skimmer, Ca reactor, reverse flow chamber for carbon, and (2) 1/2 HP chillers.

I was thinking about a sequence, but their flow rate versus wattage kind of drop off in the range I'd be using it. 10-12 feet below the return with some gentle angles to split the 2 returns. The tank isn't plumbed yet but it's not that complicated to guess how it would have to be configured.

Any suggestions? opinions?
