Hi, i have a 5' long tank, with the overflow and return in the midle of the tank, as a return pump i use a mag drive 18. In one of the sides i have located the Vortech, with the return pump off, the Vortech make 1" <> waves, but when i turn on the return the wave desapear, i just get a litle wave. So the question is how i sopouse to point the nozzles from the return pump to dont kill the wave?, thanks.

Unfortunately it's really hard to predict the interactions of multiple pumps to determine their effect on a resonant wave. No question adding another pump would help issues a lot, but you could also potentially get a better wave if you were to direct the nozzle somewhere where it didn't interfere with the output of the VorTech.

I have a snapper on an O/M with 4 return lines on a 110 gallon. my ecotech puts out a nice wave. very good motion at the surface and the bottom. the mp40-w was the best addition.
