I have an external Panworld NH 40 PX that i used for about 2-3 months, It's a great little pump 3/4" inlet 3/4" outlet 15-20 lpm which is about 700 gph @ 21 foot head. When i ran it wide open it splashed the water over the side of my tank, I think they are under rated and are a quality pump. 60.00 is what i paid and that's what i want for it.

Those are good pumps. It was very quiet, too.

Harbor Freight Tools has these awesome submersible 3200 GPH pond pumps for like $70

I've got two in the sump. I think it uses 270 watts. One running the main display's sea swirls and the other two are running my other two small tanks that are plumbed in-line. So, even with two of them there is not even much heat being put out. My temp ranges about 77-79 even with two 400 watt halides and just a fan blowing on the water.

I bought mine in store and it was only $69.99 I don't know if they have went up, but it was only two months ago. Price is $129.99 online....Here's the link to buy it online:

The large cover snaps off easily and is just a pump iside maybe 4" by 6.5"
